Meet The Team
Kirsty Gilbert, Director
Kirsty established SRP in 1999. She has over 25 years private practice physiotherapy experience and has a Masters qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Aside from running a successful Physio practice for 20 years, her career highlights include being an invited Physiotherapist speaker at the 5th IOC Sports Medicine Conference 1999, and being involved as a SASI swimming and kayaking Team Physiotherapist.
Kirsty has a passion for treating neck and back pain ranging from the young athlete to the elderly with expertise in Manipulative physiotherapy, dry needling and clinical pilates rehabilitation.
In her spare time Kirsty loves playing hockey and spending time with her family including her 3 school age children.
Alice graduated from the University of South Australia in 2011. She joined the clinic in 2014 after spending two years working in private practice in the Riverland. Here she gained an invaluable wide variety of physiotherapy experience including sports injuries, Pilates Rehabilitation and post-operative joint management.
She has a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and has already gained an excellent reputation treating patients at our clinic using her progressive clinical skills including dry needling techniques.
Alice is a strong advocate for a fit and healthy lifestyle which is reflected in her treatment approach.
Alice is at the clinic every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and one Saturday a month.
Carly completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement and Health Studies) at the University of South Australia in 2011. Graduating as a Physiotherapist in 2013 with a Master of Physiotherapy (Graduate Entry) she then joined the clinic in 2014 and has a particular interest in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates rehabilitation.
She incorporates a strong focus on manual treatment with personalised exercise rehabilitation to help you return to your best.
Carly is at the clinic every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Megan joined the clinic in 2017. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy at University of South Australia in 2015. Before joining the SRP team she spent time working in private practice in Kadina.
She also has a keen interest in Clinical Pilates rehabilitation for the sports person.
Ashleigh completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy through the University of South Australia in 2019. Since graduating she has worked with the Port Adelaide Football clubs SANFL and AFL teams as their team physiotherapist. This has provided her with great exposure in the management and diagnosis of injuries in an elite sporting environment.
When Ashleigh isn’t looking after elite footballers or at SRP, she enjoys swimming, pilates and walking her 3 dogs
Julia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of South Australia in 2020. She has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and supporting Active Management and Exercise Rehabilitation.
Alongside Julia’s studies, she worked as a Football Federation of SA trainer for 2 years.
Julia’s personal interests include fitness and health and well being.
Julia is in the clinic on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Montanna completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of South Australia in 2021. She has a keen interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, favouring a combined treatment approach of manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation. She enjoys working with people of all ages to help them reach their best. Having grown up playing sport in the country, she particularly enjoys working with individuals to rehabilitate their sporting injuries.
Outside of SRP, Montanna enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and keeping active through F45 and pilates. She also works as a sports trainer for the Port Adelaide Magpies.
Remedial Massage Therapist
Louise completed her studies in June 2018 and qualify with a Diploma of Remedial Therapy. In November 2018 she completed a certificate in pregnancy Massage with Pregnancy Massage Australia. Louise enjoys treating with Myofascial release and restoring relaxation to her clients.
In Louise’s time away from the clinic she is a golfer with a single figure handicap and is a member of The Grange golf club. Louise was a member of the South Australian team than won the national team’s title in 2006. At The Grange golf club Louise has been a member of the Sanderson cup team that has won 4 titles in a row and is a past club champion.
Jasmine joined SRP in 2019. With over 10 years experience in Customer Service, we knew she would fit into the team perfectly.
Jasmine moved to Australia from England in 2011 so in her spare time you’ll find her making the most of our beautiful SA beaches with her two dogs.
When you come to our clinic you will most likely be greeted by Kerry, our friendly Clinical Receptionist. She has a caring nature and we’d be lost without her here. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog and being fit and active.
